Position Summary:  The Janitorial Staff Member is responsible for the upkeep and cleanliness of the entire building to ensure that when people arrive on campus they see an inviting environment that looks both professional and has a sense of home.  Work closely with the entire staff to build and maintain a strong team environment and complete the work necessary to fully serve and support the ministries and events of Lighthouse Church.  Must demonstrate a willingness to adapt and change!
 
Experience and Knowledge Required:
·         Perform a background check and drug screening upon request.
·         Good references.
·         Honestly sign the Lighthouse Code of Conduct.
·         Must have transportation with your own vehicle.
·         Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. 
·         Working knowledge of basic computer skills.
·         Flexible, patient and a self-motivator.
·         Able to handle confidential information with integrity.
·         Able to manage a schedule with detailed lists.
·         Experienced in cleaning with an eye for detail.
·         Responsible, reliable and teachable.
·         Good with time management.
·         Ability to work alone with minimum supervision.
·         Takes initiative.
·         Able to handle physical labor and moderate lifting.

 
Key Responsibilities: 
-       Check off all BASECAMP lists daily AS YOU COMPLETE tasks.
-       Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the campus according to procedures set forth, which includes but is not limited to: 
               - Vacuuming
               - Sweeping
               - Mopping
               - Clean windows, doors, mirrors
               - Collect & dispose of trash
-       Maintain and keep a weekly, monthly, bi-monthly, quarterly cleaning duties to inside and outside of entire campus. 
-       Set up & tear down for events including tables, chairs, baptism pools, etc. 
-       Work events as requested.
-       Maintain inventory lists, turning in labeled receipts, and organizing supplies as needed.
-       Maintain supply rooms, cabinets, shelves, and storage areas in an orderly manner.
-       Respond to staff emails, text, BASECAMP and phone calls promptly.
-       Able to work late nights & weekends routinely.

Compensation: $15.00 per hour
